Hard at work on your response to the FTC’s request for comments about the Green Guides? You can breathe easier because the public comment period has been extended to April 24, 2023.

In December, the FTC announced it was taking a fresh look at its . We’re asking for your feedback on the continued need for the Green Guides, their economic impact, and their interaction with other environmental regs. We’re also interested in research about consumer perception of green claims – both claims currently addressed in the Guides, as well as others in the marketplace.

In addition, the lists some specific issues we hope you’ll address: claims about carbon offsets and climate change; the use of the terms “recycled” and “recycled content”; representations about energy use and energy efficiency; and whether there’s a need for more guidance on the use of words like “compostable,” “degradable,” “ozone-friendly,” “organic,” and “sustainable.”

Save a step – and some energy – by by the April 24, 2023, deadline.

Your time line is way too short the general public did not even know anything about the comments on Natural gas until it hit the papers about two weeks ago. April 24, 2023 needs to be extended. It is know wonder how these things turn out the way they have. Natural gas needs to stay the same Natural gas. When far left get involved they tell you the sky is falling and the earth is square. They bend the truth until there is no truth anymore.
