Ready, Set, PrivacyCon
Where can you hear technology researchers discuss what’s new and what’s next in talked-about tech topics like AI, deepfakes, and health privacy? At the FTC’s eighth annual PrivacyCon. It starts this morning – March 6, 2024 – and you can watch the webcast live.
FTC Chair Khan will convene PrivacyCon at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. After that, the virtual event will feature seven panels of leading academics taking a deep dive into the empirical data. Commissioner Slaughter and Commissioner Bedoya also will offer remarks. A few minutes before the start time, tune in to watch the proceedings from the Live Webcast link. In addition, you can follow the conversation on Twitter/X using the hashtag #PrivacyCon24. If you have questions for the panelists, email them to privacycon@ftc.gov.
