FTC sends second payment to people who lost money to an online business scheme

The FTC is sending a second round of payments to customers who paid DK Automation for deceptive online business opportunities. The defendants sold their programs under several different names, including AMZDFY, Amazon Done For You, and Amazon Done With You.

The FTC sued DK Automation and its owners, Kevin David Hulse and David Shawn Arnett, for making bogus income claims. According to the FTC, the defendants promised to create “turnkey†businesses on Amazon and Walmart that would make big profits for people who bought their programs, but most people lost money.

The FTC first sent payments in March 2024, which resulted in more than $2.5 million in refunds. Because there is still money in the fund, the FTC is sending 771 payments totaling more than $282,000 to customers who accepted their first payment.
