Event Description

The Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission is planning to host a public workshop on July 15, 2008, to examine developments in green building and textiles claims and consumer perception of such claims. This workshop is one component of the Commission’s regulatory review of the , which the FTC previously announced in a Â鶹´«Ã½ Register Notice on November 26, 2007. PRE-REGISTRATION

The event is free and open to the public. All attendees will be required to display a current driver's license or other valid form of photo identification. Pre-registration for this workshop is not necessary, but is encouraged, so that we may better plan for the event.

    FILING A COMMENT

    The Commission invites interested persons to submit written comments on issues related to this workshop. Comments to inform discussion at the workshop must be received by July 1, 2008. All comments in response to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Register Notice [PDF] are due by August 15, 2008.

    Comments should be captioned “Green Building and Textiles Workshop – Comment, Project No.P084203†and submitted according to the instructions below.
