PHOENIX -- Paul K. Charlton, U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona; Tom Syta, Assistant Director, Western Region of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission; and Janice Somerset, Deputy Chief Inspector, Field Operations South of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service are hosting a one day forum for law enforcement and Hispanic community leaders to promote education and awareness of the problem of consumer fraud within the Hispanic community in Arizona.

The Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission will announce six new law enforcement actions that are part of the FTC’s ongoing Hispanic initiative. A consumer guest who has personal experience with one of the scams will be available for interviews.

Media are invited for opening remarks and Q&A to learn about this initiative. One-on-one interviews in English and Spanish will be available in a separate location after the opening remarks and group Q&A.
