Event Description

The Interagency Working Group on Food Marketed to Children will hold a half-day public forum to solicit public comment on proposed voluntary principles for food marketed to children. The Working Group, comprised of representatives from the Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission, the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, was established at the direction of Congress to develop recommendations for the nutritional quality of food marketed to children and adolescents, ages 2-17. The Group issued its proposal for public comment last month.

Registration for the Forum has now closed due to space limitations. A transcript of the proceedings, as well as the PowerPoint slides presented, will be made available on this website as soon as possible after May 24.
