The company’s name is MOBE – pronounced Mōb, not Moby – but according to , the defendants tell quite a fish story to the consumers they hook with money-making promises.

The nine corporations and three individuals named in the sell “business education” products through web ads, direct mail, and live events. (MOBE stands for “My Online Business Education.”) The defendants claim to have a “simple 21-Step” system consumers can implement to make substantial income “without creating your own products” and “without dealing with customers.” Pitching a “master plan to massive paydays with ease,” they promise that “average people with no prior experience online are depositing $1,250, $3,300, and even $5,500 commissions ” into their bank accounts “on auto-pilot.”

When consumers visit the defendants’ website, they’re taken to a registration page for the 21-Step System, which the defendants initially offer for $49 or less. But that’s just the start. The 21-Step system turns out to be a series of videos. The initial ones offer vague teases about “funnels that have paid out millions and millions of dollars in commissions to people just like you who went through this training” and assurances that later steps will reveal the “secret” method for generating substantial income online. Ultimately, the defendants explain that the “missing ingredient” to making money through the MOBE system is to buy additional tiered memberships and then earn commissions by getting other people to sign up with MOBE, too. According to the defendants, the higher the membership, the greater the commission. Just how pricy are those upper-level memberships? The “Gold Masterclass” costs consumers $4,997 while the “Diamond Mastermind” sets people back a staggering for $29,997.

According to the complaint, the defendants encourage people to place their own social media ads, create websites, use copy-and-paste emails, and record testimonials to get others to sign up for MOBE. They also sell members add-on products – like the email addresses of people likely to buy business opportunities. In addition, the defendants repackage their “system” and sell it under other names. According to one ad, consumers can “discover how a poisoned, brain-damaged man … RAKES IN A 6-FIGURE INCOME FROM HOME AND HOW YOU CAN TOO, GUARANTEED.” (The … and the ALL CAPS are in the original ad.) They also market the “Patriot Funnel System” with the promise that people will “DISCOVER THE SHOCKING $97,337 SECRET A WAR VET UNCOVERED FROM HIS SWEAT-BOX ROOM IN AFGHANISTAN.” The pitch to older consumers and retirees is a so-called “Surefire Way to Create a Six-Figure Retirement Income in Less Than 12 Months.”

But regardless of how the defendants package the system online or at live events, the FTC alleges that the primary thing MOBE sells is more MOBE memberships. As a result, the FTC says that very few people – if anybody – achieved the advertised results and that many consumers found themselves in an even deeper financial hole. That should come as no surprise to the defendants, who themselves admitted in a buried fine-print hyperlink that the “average Consultant, which includes both active and inactive members, generates less than $250 per year.”

What about buyers who want to take the defendants up on their prominent “100% risk-free” promise that “We Guarantee You’ll Be Satisfied With Your Course and Coaching In 30 Days, Or We’ll Happily Give You Your Money Back”? According to the complaint, the defendants often failed to honor their refund policy or imposed onerous hoops through which dissatisfied consumers had to jump.

Filed in federal court in Florida, the challenges the defendants’ earnings claims and refund representations. The Judge issued an ex parte temporary restraining order against principals Matthew Lloyd McPhee (in most MOBE promotions, he goes by Matt Lloyd), Susan Zanghi, and Russell W. Whitney, Jr.; MOBE Ltd.; and eight related corporations. But even at this initial stage, this case – and other recent FTC actions challenging allegedly deceptive money-making promises – suggests that people interested in supplementing their income should be on alert.

Small business owners or others interested in additional earnings are wise to be wary of “systems” that promise substantial passive cash, especially when the system depends on selling others the same “opportunity.” When promoters claim to have the “secret” to making big bucks online, the needle on your malarkey-ometer should be in the red zone. The FTC has to consult before sinking cash into a purported money-making venture.

Indeed Mobe did heavily upsell and promote. Which company doesn't do that? McDonalds.. "Would you like some fries with that?" I paid $10K to attend the Titanium Mastermind event, plus more in travel expenses. I learned how to apply digital marketing tactics to make money from my existing business. The tools and information they provided me was great! The techniques used to generate sales can be applied to just about any business. I was able to make money using their system.

I agree that you could of learned stuff but in actuality I got a lot of my help from clickfunnels and elsewhere, at the live recent event even having feeling really uncomfortable about investing the money and was told that the way to make money is to start at Titanium- which I had to go through a lot to get that money to pay for it. I now wish I had not listened to a really good sales guy and listened to my own gut to start slowly at like Gold -I would not be out around $14K. And my coach never answered some of my questions -- I believe she was just too busy and also sold me clicks 2 weeks ago which were never delivered.

Honestly, the longer this drags, the more FTC will take out of the frozen assets of the company as their legal fee. Wether or not anything remains after that to be reimbursed to clients is anyone's guess. That being said, if you paid for your courses, but had not yet had a chance to attend or use them, and if you paid by credit or bank card, I would talk to them first and explain what has happened. Some have insurance coverage against losses for services or products not received. You need to tell them FTC is involved and the company is currently shut.

If MOBE course materials and training are excellent in their own merits, why sell exorbitant memberships? They could simply price the courses based on the levels of advancement appropriate for different individuals' needs. Putting multi-level marketing and affiliate marketing into the mix although contentious but its not really a crime. In fact it is actually quite an efficient and economical way for Matt Lloyd to expand his business swiftly by having thousands of members advertising for MOBE and him everywhere. Unfortunately, the backlash is credibility suffers because MOBE no longer has much control over the consistency of their massive members worldwide when the business grows and disgruntled new recruits with thousands invested having no much gains will feel shortchanged or have been misrepresented. Eventually, this will reach a critical dissatisfied number large enough to mount a complaint against the company which I believe is happening. The exorbitant memberships prices, unfulfilled refunds and ironically top earners now become the main lighting rod for anger regardless of the merits of MOBE training actually do provide.

All of my emails, texts, phone calls & Skype have gone unanswered until yesterday when a so called personal assistant informed me that they were under investigation. To those who think that MOBE is a scam: One of the key principles to true wealth and of self-made millionaires is they know that money reflects impact--the more people they help, the more they make. They use their money to help others. I remember seeing Matt Lloyd's emails back when he was first getting started in 2007 - 2009 because I have been looking for an online business for longer than that. I tried a lot of things but couldn't make them work because there was no support, and they were cookie cutter programs that didn't work. If Matt was the scam artist the FTC and possibly his competitors and disgruntled students are claiming, he would have been gone long ago. I too, have invested a large sum of money, over $30K, into my MOBE business and was just getting started when it was shut down. I learned about MOBE through a Facebook ad advertising the IM Freedom Workshop in my area. I am 66 years old and live on Social Security. I went to the workshop and saw this as possibly my last opportunity to become financially independent and signed up for the three-day Home Business Summit. It was excellent! Never did anyone there try to make any fantastic claims about getting rich fast. In fact, they emphasized that it was NOT a "get rich quick" program and that it would require a lot of work on my part but that there was plenty of support if we wanted or needed it. They showed us the benefits of the upper programs. I felt comfortable because there was so much support and so many tools to help me become successful, like a sales team that would close sales for me on the back end, as I feel like my own sales ability is weak, and also built in coaches to help us. I tried to position myself to become Diamond from the start, but was only able to come up with funding for Titanium level. Now I do not have access to any of the training videos or things I have purchased that I want to promote because the FTC has shut MOBE down. I feel that Matt Lloyd is sincere and truly has a good heart, and wants to help as many people as he can, acquire the life style he has enjoyed through his hard work and his own efforts as well as the efforts of others. There is nothing wrong with this. He truly understands the principles of true wealth by helping other people. He puts so much back into this business to help others. Why shouldn't he be rewarded for his own and others' efforts? There is also an idea in the business arena that says,"I would rather have 1% of the efforts of 100 people than 100% of the the efforts of one person." For the average person (naysayer) who thinks rich people are greedy and that making money is about taking money from others or who think that Matt has ripped them off, it is not Matt that is hurting us. It is the FTC and the complainers who can't take accountability for their own decisions and lack of hard work and perseverance. Or perhaps there is a vendetta to be served from the copy cats who were shut down for stealing Matt's model. They must have thought it was a good one! Let's give credit where credit is due. There are plenty of people in this business that have been successful and made a lot of money and have proven that the system works and is not a scam. True pyramid schemes hurt those at the bottom because eventually they fizzle out because there is no support or no real product and someone at the top truly was trying to get rich quick, took the money and ran and probably didn't know how to run a real business. That is not the case with Matt. He gives back 1000% or more. I would much rather learn from him than try to figure it all out on my own. I certainly hope the FTC can see through these false claims made against Matt and let this company get back on it's feet so those of us who are new or at the "bottom" can get to work to make our investment back through hard work and perseverance and hope that this hasn't ruined the reputation of Matt or MOBE. There are always going to be those in any network marketing type structure that say "sour grapes" because they couldn't be successful at what they were doing and leave the company and badmouth the company. Just suck it up peeps if you are one of them and take a good hard look at YOURSELF! Bring MOBE back!

Zenda, I agree with you. Mobe offers valuable products and they can be applied to any business. I want to continue learning but I’m not able to because of this shutdown. This is hurting the good people who are willing to do the hard work and not give up when met with an obstacle. I hope FTC will make the right decision and make Mobe accessible again, this company provides value. I have learned so much with Mobe but there’s still so much more to be learned.

I was browsing the internet looking for a legitimate online work when I came across the marketing videos of MOBE. Everything said in this complaint is true, the first coach will persuade you to sign up for Masterclasses. It was "explained' that if you don't sign up on the higher level, and your downline signs up to a higher level, you don't get the commission of that particular level. They also give a guarantee that if by the end of one year and you do not think this business is for you, just to let them know, and money will be returned to you, no questions ask. So, base on this guarantee of one year, I ended up signing up to Titanium level.. The masterclasses have this all expense paid to resorts for "training", but, I never got to use any of it at all. Not only did I pay for the Masterclasses, I also paid for Monthly "membership" fee, Solo Ads costs, hire mentors, website costs, etc. As a result, I incurred $40K in debt, my husband and my once stellar credit rating all came crashing down since we do not have that income from this business to pay. My husband & I had no choice but file for Bankruptcy in 2017. Before the end of the one year, I attempted to withdraw from the system based on their guarantee, and wrote MOBE many times. I had been given the run-around, and finally they don't respond anymore.

Dear FTC, I believe you have made a mistake with your case against MOBE. I joined the program and have absolutely loved the training and education I received. I bought the training because I believe it was worth the value I paid, not on the promise of making money. Marketing products through affiliation is commonplace, and evident in every area of business. In addition, the MOBE training system provides much more value than I think the FTC realizes. The product I paid $49 for was worth much more. The product I paid $2500 was worth much more, and so on. I don't believe the FTC actually understands the value that was provided along with the purchase of their training programs. What MOBE provides isn't just a 'make money fast' opportunity. They provide a training platform for people who might never have had an entrepreneurial fire to find that fire. The online courses - which are the real value in my opinion - take people through every level of personal development, so that you may find success not just financially, but in all aspects of life. The coaching system is the same, the value I received from learning from business coaches was incredible, and worth much, much more than I paid. I am deeply upset that the FTC has stolen my training materials. Every way I look at it, it is theft. As a consumer, I made an educated decision to purchase training materials. The company delivered on my purchase, and I was satisfied. Then the FTC stole what I bought. That is theft, which is a criminal activity. I want my property back. I don't mean to be rude, but I am very upset that the FTC of the United States can trample on my rights as a consumer in a foreign country, to make a calculated and educated decision to purchased a product I want. MOBE fulfilled everything they said they would, every step of the way. I was never promised that I'd make money. In fact, I was clearly made aware that most people never make any money. I was clearly made aware that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to succeed in online marketing, no matter what you're promoting. In closing, I believe that MOBE, Matt Lloyd and all partners are great people, that the company itself has done much much much much more good than harm, and that the overwhelming majority of people who have purchased MOBE products are happy with their decision, happy with the products, and really want them to be returned by the FTC. Thank you for reading, and I hope that you'll make the right decision. Kind regards, Kade Price

The only reason anyone would say that Mobe is a scam is if they didn't do the work. Matt has always been upfront about putting in the work it's going to take to be successful. Their training gives you everything you need to know about building a business online. Matt has always said to build your own business and you can promote My Online Business Education to start making some money online. He has always been upfront about the people who make descent money online have their own business and promote Mobe on the back end. He has never said that you'll get rich promoting Mobe. Each program you buy into has different training. Everyone who has joined Mobe knows this. If the FTC would have actually did some work and researched the different levels of training they would have found this out. I believe that real investigative work should be done before just shutting a company down. You shouldn't just take the words of people who weren't putting in the effort that it truly takes to be successful. The FTC needs to realize the 80/20 rule exists in everything. That includes business. Most are looking for easy money. When they realize that it takes a lot of work they tend to complain about being scammed or ripped off.

When you attend universities like UCLA, Notre Dame or Harvard, spend $50 thousand, $100,000, $200,000 do they guarantee upon graduation you will have a high paying job? No. Do they provide a way to make money? No. Will they refund your tuition if you don't make any money after graduation? No. I don't understand why it should be expected that MOBE would do anything more, yet it did. I personally saw refunds, and I personally made money by implementing MOBE's teachings. Not a lot of money yet but I was just getting started. Did they pressure me into buying more? Not as much as the "we can reduce or forgive your government student loan debt" calls, which proved to be a money making scheme for the lending industry. When they calculate "what they could do for me" I would end up paying more. Yet they keep calling me even after I opt out, press 4 to be removed, even block their calls. That higher education college degree was my expensive education, MOBE is my valuable education. I'd like it back please.

I entered MOBE to enhance my business education. I invested in the Silver/Gold package because it was a good fit for me. Nobody forced me, it was my decision to invest in my own education. I take responsibility for my decisions/actions. What I learned during the program training far exceeded my expectations. The value of the study courses is huge. I was guided by professional coaches who improved my understanding of material. The knowledge I acquired from MOBE can be applied to any business. And I am confident I will do it the right way. I am forever grateful to MOBE for making the courses available. Now, a special note to FTC: by shutting down the MOBE websites you are infringing upon my God given right to continue with my studies. The Silver/Gold package have a lot of tools that are available on MOBE’s websites only. You aren’t punishing MOBE only, but taking away my right to educate myself. Please take that into account.

I have invested $30k for mobe online and offline training. I never joined mobe to make money online. I joined to learn and grow my existing business. I got tremendous value in 21 steps, so invested $2497 in silver+gold master class and other bonuses worth $39k. I have gone through all of them and it helped me a lot in my business. Then i upgraded to titanium and platinum mastermind recently. My wife and i have already booked our flights to fiji to attend titanium mastermind in August. So my question to respected FTC officials and others as follows; 1] How did you take away the digital products that i have paid for? I have no access since 7th June. If mobe business wrong according to your resources you can ask them to stop the business model but you guys have taken away access to our digital products. For which i have paid $40k and i own them for life. 2] There are many crap companies making false promises to earn $150k per month and claim to be in business from past 15 years. Why are they not shut down? Why no action taken against them? Please check out this sites legendary marketer, wealthy affiliate, Super affiliate, lifestyle now, etc etc all of them making bigger false promises on their sales page and websites. 3] Mobe told us clearly that if you want to make money from mobe affiliate programme it requires investment, efforts and we have to run paid ads. they were upfront. It was our choice and greed to invest. If I fail I cannot blame mobe for that right? 4] All govt or election candidates makes biggest and ugliest false promises to the public during the elections but they never deliver those promises to us. Why don't you guys take action against them? 5] All universities or MBA programmes make us take huge debt for life. But we don't get better opportunities in the real world. So we don't blame them and complain about them. But here we are complaining mobe a genuine and honest training company. Not fair at all. We all know that all entrepreneurs want to be Richard Branson, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs etc but very few could reach that level in real life. So in any business, we have to take responsibility for our own success or failure. We should not complain or blame others. I rest my case.

To start off, the advertisers don't explain to potential customers that the results of top earners are NOT typical; the top earners have either had a lot, a LOT of experience in online marketing. They have not only this background, but they understand they HAVE to put in WORK. Some people of the internet want to get rich quick, when people advertise MOBE, they do NOT explain this concept. They do not explain that REAL HARD work has to be put in; therefore making an idea that MOBE is a "get rich quick" scheme or pyramid scheme. I believe this is all being worked up for nothing. The people who buy into these affiliate programs don't understand that they have to work, they all want everything handed to them and they all don't have work ethic. In my opinion, MOBE should be released from the temporary restraining order and resume business as usual, but who am I, nothing to the FTC. I just hope that the judge thoroughly looks through the company and decides fairly, that is all that I wish for.

do you have proof of your claims. i personally met 2 top earners who were fr from having the experience you speak of. this came from them directly. so i am curios you are stating facts or opinions. if making millions was easy we'd all have millions. unfortunately we do not. there is no "get rich quick", but there are ways to make money, if you put in the effort, time, and the money.

MOBE has provided me with valuable business education training which I have been able to use in multiple business projects inside and outside of MOBE. I used the MOBE program and training in my business threefold. First for my own business training which is applicable within any of my businesses, second to sell the wide range of front end and back end business training products MOBE makes available to sell to online and brick-and-mortar customers and third to offer the MOBE opportunity to our customers for them to begin their own company selling business training materials and masterminds. Every time I’ve heard any big claims of money I always heard “these results are not typical”. I know that when I’ve promoted MOBE before the shut down, I specifically would say this is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a business, it takes effort and an investment in personal training and advertising. There were valuable tools available that did make it much easier to build any kind of business for those that actually applied themselves, took advantage of the tools and put in the effort to use them. I’ve never heard the business presented as you give me big dollars, place a couple of ads, sit back and the money will come in, it was always clear that effort must be made by advertising to drive sales to the companies offers in order to create a profitable business. Due to the online nature of the business the owner could work from anywhere and set their own hours and the heavy lifting/done-for-you of fulfillment, product creation and execution was done by MOBE itself. I find it regrettable that this FTC action has taken place and disrupted the lives of those people that are actually working their businesses, which came to an unexpected abrupt halt. Not talking about the big earners but the people like me that found a company that provided them training to make sense of the online business world, excellent training products to sell and a community to help encourage, provide additional training and support to move our businesses forward.

As background to my comment, I have been in many online scams since 2009 and lost literally thousands buying non existent holidays, and the like. So I was very wary before joining MOBE 2 years ago. Membership of MOBE, that is to be an affiliate, costs $19.95 a month or $109.50 annually. The other high ticket items people keep quoting are the purchase price for some of the products. You quote in your article "The “Gold Masterclass” costs consumers $4,997" - most customers get it for $2,497 along with the Silver Masterclass. These are real educational products, delivered by video, text and real books. I have been training online since first doing a 'long distance course' from New England University in the 1970s where I was sent reel to reel tapes to listen to! A far cry from MOBE's state of the art delivery. I recently undertook training via edX from Edinburgh University and Curtin University. In my humble opinion, having been involved as an educator all my life at schools, colleges and universities here in Australia, MOBE's training and delivery is equal to or superior to both these universities. Matt Lloyd does most of the delivery and includes video sessions from other well known online achievers and mentors. You will find that most of the whingers and complainers are people who think that handing over a sum of cash will get them rich. This is never claimed anywhere in MOBE's training. In fact, the Silver Masterclass is all about mindset and becoming self sufficient and driven in preparation for the transfer from a job mentality to entrepreneurship. What MOBE does say though is that we can leverage the MOBE company to take over once we get 'leads' to take a look at and buy the introductory training for $49. MOBE then provides literally hundreds of hours of the latest training from top earners in marketing methods both online and off. To those who say MOBE is a scam, I refer them to the MOBE Case Studies page. No doubt, the defendants will be providing more information on the full range of products and services MOBE offers. As a MOBE Coach for the past 6 months, I can say I have never seen anyone online with more integrity than Matt Lloyd. Please give him a good hearing - he deserves that if nothing else.

For over 10 years I’ve been an Internet Marketer. I started this journey after my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2005. Within 3 years he became completely bedridden and required 24 hour care. That care, as his wife, was my responsibility. Although I stayed home with him, gladly, I still needed to contribute financially. So, I began to search online for a way to do so. I tried a lot of things, from drop shipping on eBay and Amazon, to building my own Shopify store. I sold different digital products online. Of course, I made some money, but it took a lot of work and a lot of time…away from Terry. So, I kept searching. I was looking for something that was truly passive income and that paid well. Someone sent me an email with a link in it to MOBE. After taking a look, I felt this is where I needed to stop looking. Hearing Matt’s story of where he’d come from and what his dreams were truly resonated with me. And when he talked about the “Done for you” aspect using a phone sales team I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I decided to pay the $49 and start the 21 steps. Immediately I began to learn! As I progressed through the steps I was offered the opportunity to invest at the next level. After learning about the entire business I decided I wanted to be a Diamond Consultant. However, it wasn’t possible for me at that time. I stayed a Standard Consultant for almost a year. In October of 2015 I decided to borrow the money to become a Titanium member. That purchase included a mastermind event with 5 days of trainings which would be held in Puerto Vallarta Mexico at a luxury resort in February 2016. My daughter had volunteered to stay with my husband so I could take that trip. Then in December 2015 my husband died suddenly of a massive stroke. I was devastated! But we had a substantial amount of insurance on him, so I knew I would be ok financially for a while. I decided to continue with MOBE and go to Mexico. My daughter took that trip with me. We both fell in love with the entire process! The trainings were exceptional! About half way through I decided to use some of the money I had and invest in myself and my business by becoming a Diamond Consultant. There has been more training than I could keep up with! Throughout 2016 I attended all of the masterminds that were included, as well as several other events. At every event there is always something to purchase, if I so choose. But I was never “forced” to buy anything. From day 1, it’s always been my choice, to buy what I thought would benefit me and my business….or not. For most or 2017 I stopped working on my business because of grief. But, when I was ready, I just picked up where I’d left off. Matt is one of the smartest men I’ve ever known. I admire his integrity, his vision for himself and his consultants. He made me believe I could actually build an online business, even though I was 63 years old, have a high school education and was home bound for almost 10 years. And I did it! I can teach you how to start an affiliate business in a matter of hours, including getting traffic to it. I will be forever grateful for Matt Lloyd for what he brought to this industry. It has changed my life to be part of this business. I am honored he allowed us, as affiliates, to participate in his dream of helping the ordinary person to build an extraordinary business and life. This is how I feel.. No one is forced to buy…persuaded, perhaps. But we’re all adults and 100% responsible for our buying/investing decisions. I give no one the power over my successes or failures. I own both. Just as no one gets the credit when I make money also no one gets the blame when I don’t. Yes, there were some great sales people in MOBE selling products. But keep in mind…those people who were “forced” to buy made the decision to attend the event. Took the necessary steps to make arrangements to be there, some involved purchasing airline tickets, traveling to a foreign country, etc. If they were capable of making those decision, on their own, wouldn’t they have been capable of making an intelligent buying decision? I think so. I believe we all suffer from buyers remorse. That’s why in the US we have 3 days to change our mind after buying a house, or anything else. But this is an international company and, as far as I know, it doesn’t apply. It’s been pointed out to me that there have been some older people, 70+, who were taken advantage of when they purchased their masterminds because they weren’t aware of what they were getting into. Take any one of those people and tell them they can’t spend their money the way they want…see what answer you get. Yes, it’s more difficult for us baby boomers to learn this, but we can and have learned it. I regret that we no longer have access to the trainings that we paid for. They were excellent and endless! It is indeed an educational business. I’m sure the “Done for you” aspect of MOBE has, or will come under fire. So, I’d like to address that, as well. In the first mastermind I attended Matt spoke several times. He advised us to start with “Done for you”. And he said this over and over. Here’s how it works: You only need to purchase a domain name (around $15 per year). You forward that domain name to your affiliate link from the back office (there are many to choose from). You drive traffic (people) to that domain name, usually by paid advertisement. My coach taught me how to use solo ads, very simple. When someone clicks on your domain name it sends them to the offer in MOBE. If they enter their email then MOBE begins to send them emails. If they purchase the $49 offer (application fee) they will be called by the phone sales team. The phone sales team will start them into the 21 steps. During those steps, while learning, they will be offered the opportunity to purchase other trainings. You never have to contact the customer. The phone sales team does it all. If they sell anything to that customer, it’s on your behalf. It’s as simple as that. When studying the trainings we learned how to build a business where we collect the emails, send the follow up emails, etc. But we never have to do that to have a successful affiliate business with MOBE. Thank you Matt Lloyd for sharing your dreams and vision with us! I will be forever grateful. Sincerely, Deborah Shaw

I recently put money in at the Diamond level. This is after i had worked with the company for almost a year. My agreements actually came in a day before the shutdown. To be honest the only thing that prompted me to pay for it was the education and all the initiatives Matt was putting in place to give value. I have a degree and it is absolutely useless. This education would have been mine for a lifetime and i could pass the login details to my kids if i had any. I feel that the shut down took away the hope i had to get a real actionable education. The affiliate program of 19.95usd was optional and only went to those that wanted the commissions. The other investment was for the education. One payment would teach me to brand myself, get the branding done by pros, actively teach me to create products, teach me to invest for the long term and teach me to market any business ideas i had on the internet. You guys stole this dream from me and loads other of people who valued the idea of finding all this education in one place. Should MOBE return i hope you are ready and willing to compensate everyone including the non-US residents for the trauma, loss of time and wasted money. Really not fair and not cool.

The MOBE training is definitely an eye opener and new and innovative way of doing both online and offline businesses. I have benefitted greatly just from the education and tools I received in the initial 21 step system, and I am applying these in my businesses with great result. I have every intention of investing in the master classes and master minds. I believe those complaining are probably not willing to put in the time and effort to see the fruit of their investment. MOBE, just like any other business, will do its best to market their programmes. Their biggest seller is that once you bring in a client you not only earn a commission from that particular sale but the client remains your client for life, and you earn from every sale made to them. This is a much better business practice than most businesses are offering their sales people or affiliates. I personally have only done the 21 steps. The info I have is amazing and applicable even in my current ventures that are not MOBE affiliated. I truly hope the FTC will diligently look into the MOBE systems and realise what they are - innovative.

I am surprised by the negative comments here about MOBE being a scam and people asking for their money back ! I have invested in MOBE’s titanium around 2 years ago and being a chartered accountant I quickly see the value of the programme and started using that in my business and never looked Back MOBE again and by using what I learnt about traffic and online marketing method, I easily managed to get my investment back and healthy profit as well.. so as you know, I also have done PG in digital media management from reputed university in the uk and diploma in digital marketing from DMI ! MOBE Training and resources ( done for your emails, videos, articles, traffic teaming and many more ) have 10 times more value than my university and diploma degrees anyday. And I invested more or less The same for my university and college education as I did in MOBE !! If you need evidence of any of the things I said . I am ready to submit anytime. And let me repeat this, I haven’t made a penny out of MOBE . And it’s the best products I have come across so far . Even my university claimed they are best education provider and has huge employment possibilities this that in their initial events. Everyone do that. MOBE is not different . It’s not a scam ! When Mobe is live again, this time I will start promoting the events and introduce thiusands of others people about this amazing product. Good Luck MOBE and the team !

I have a big respect for FTC trying to protect people and taking action immediately however thousands of people have been affected by this decision of shutting MOBE down. MOBE actually changed my life. The training they provided helped me build an online business which allowed me to quit my full time job. And I was completely new to internet marketing. I understood that I was responsible for my results and I took massive action. Most of people who complain that they lost money because of MOBE never took any real action. And the worst thing is that we lost access to our training that we paid big money for. All because the websites were shut down. I also purchased the Diamond mastermind where MOBE was supposed to build my brand including website, professional marketing videos, photos, ebook, webinars etc. And now, because of the FTC decision I am not going to get it. And who is going to give me my money back? I would much rather get the service I paid for because I know that it would scale my business up which would result me making a lot more money than I paid to MOBE for this service. I really hope that we at least are going to get back access to the training we paid for.

I have been training on MOBE site for 2 month. I am in Viet Nam. I realize that MOBE provides me many amazing knowledge of business. The training I received from 21 Steps and Silver,Gold Mastermind are the best business training I have ever done. The knowledge I gain from Matt's trainings are worth a lot more than I paid for and his/our business are changing lives all over the world. Some people expect to get paid without making an effort and this is wrong, for us who have put in effort in learning and practising, we are seeing results.I hope i can be kept worked on with this site as soon as possible. Thanks

MOBE gave me the best education EVER. I am a classical musician based in The Netherlands. I have spent 11 years studying at the best institutions, toured the world making music with fantastic musicians. Yet when the economy collapsed all this education and lifetime of experience was of no help. MOBE gave me the skills and mindset to take my passion-driven business in music from the place of frustration and despair to the place where I am today. It's an awesome life thanks to MOBE. The knowledge I got from MOBE and from Matt personally took my music business past six figures in the first two months of this year and now I am in position to help others. And when others tell me, "Thanks to you I am now living in my dream", it makes me feel grateful to Matt and MOBE for putting myself in that position today. By applying what I learned from MOBE to my music business I earned back everything I invested and made profits. It saddens me to see that so many people were unable to see the obvious - massive value in the education MOBE provides. It saddens me to see this war on education and culture of entrepreneurship. A war on my personal freedom. I feel robbed of the source of education and training MOBE was providing. It was ongoing, for life. It was everything a grown up, sensible entrepreneur will ever need. MOBE is the second business education I invested in, and not the last. It holds every comparison to the highest standards. The knowledge MOBE provides is 1000000x worth every penny invested. I want it back. Thank you for reading this testimonial. Dmitry

I had just completed step 20 and 30 step of traffic. I have enjoyed my training thus far and can see I great opportunity here. I invested in the silver and gold package with my eyes wide open. I read their disclosure statement about how much money the typical investor makes. I understand it is not a guarantee of a big income and I am required to do the work. I have worked hard all my life and saw this as a way to better a otherwise dismal future. My coach constantly says this is not a get rich quick program, that you get out of it what you put into it, yes you can be very successful but it is up to me and what efforts I put in. I hope that you see past the disgruntled people who didn’t get the free ride they thought they were going to get. There were no promises made only statements that yes you can succeed if you follow your advice of your coaches and trainers. I hope I can be kept worked on with this site as soon as possible. Thanks!

You say that "The “Gold Masterclass” costs consumers $4,997". You don't mention that its offered free to action takers that purchase the Silver masterclass in a particular time for $2,497. These are real educational products, delivered by video, text & books. On top of this you get a coach that goes through the steps with you & helps explain what you are not sure of. You get 30 days to do the 21 steps & are issued with a full refund should it not be a good fit for you. I have been online since 2009 & seen & done many things, but have not seen a fairer deal than this one.And I have seen many. I have not seen 1 customer denied the refund. You will get the complainers that buy the system , sit on their hands, make no money & wonder why. It is constantly pointed out that the variable between the money makers & the non money makers is the person that has the system. In fact, the You are taught mindset and to becoming self sufficient and driven in preparation for the transfer from a job mentality to entrepreneurship. Often the coach will say to people that, "this system may not suite them" What MOBE does tell you is that we can leverage the MOBE company to take over & train the people you want to share this system with, if you are not confident, or until you are confident enough to do it yourself & you will share a small percentage of the profit with them to do that, then provides many courses to help you to run any business, on or offline. They even have courses, live coaching & weekly webinars to show you how to best advertise your businesses. MOBE also offers you the chance to sell their training courses & they will share the profit with you. In some instances they will give you 90%, Thats a great deal. I have seen this system change peoples lives. Now I see the FTC take that opportunity away from them & it saddens me to think what they will do. Im sorry to say FTC but, you got it wrong this time. You taking this from people will have devastating results to many families.

Ron, hahaha. really? You are kidding right? MANY, many, many, hundreds upon hundreds many - have been denied a refund! perhaps you need to read more. And I cannot begin to tell you the stuff that I was 'not' told, before signing up. Discoveries made along the way about the increasing $$$ I needed to put in, that, I didn't have, and has it said all that upfront, I would NOT have signed up in the first place Nor. Would have - what? MANY. the many who, requested and not received, refunds. And have tried many, many, and again many, avenues in trying - email, Skype, phone, texts, messages on fb. Listen? Oh. its' the silence.

I am a student of MOBE. I appreciate highly all MOBE's courses which give me a lot of knowledge and tools to do my business on the internet. For those who think that they purchase courses from MOBE and therefore they will be paid high commission without doing anything, they should be investigated, because, they themselves have problems. If MOBE is something like that, MOBE is trick. But MOBE is not. If you want to be paid by MOBE, you have to work hard with MOBE systems. So, who spread out that this is an investment with incredible benefit, they will be a cheater later, because they will say false about MOBE so that they can earn money from other. MOBE absolutely prohibit that. To FTC: you should investigate people who claim that they invest in MOBE and lose money. They are the main problem. I suggest MOBE should be back as soon as possible so that we can continue to take our courses here. Thank you for your reading

How can I get my money back from mobe?
Aimee

Please begging to have our full money back invested almost $USD60K on this Mobe and they never stop to sweet talk, push and aggressive followups. Almost hypnosis that they ask you to borrow us much as you can as it’s so easy to pay that back and multiply the money you invested. They offer to buy buyers or mentorship that keeps on talking the benefits and testimonials but once they get the money they never contact or answer back. No refunds too straight away even if they have not fulfill their promise in the contract as to attending the events and even if it’s only days after they receive your money or not sign the 25k 3’day one on one Mentorship. They won’t let you finish the 21 steps that I have answered truthfully about my goals and targets of achieving this program. Please give justice to where it’s due. Please refunds the monies paid.

Dear FTC: I think you should see Many US Universities, Many Speakers who taught many Students/ Clients and what they Commit? No Commitments that Can Find a High Salary Job with Above 100K USD/ year or Make money... MOBE also same, they Dont Commit that Every Consultant/ Affiliate can Make Money after Learning it. So, Many People Could not Make Money because their Capabilities, Their Lazy efforts, their spending every day to Learn and Practices. Why So many People can apply Successfully MOBE's Knowledge to Make money with MOBE or Physical Products or Can do better their Offline Businesses by Promoting Their Clinic, Retails, Coffee Shop.... And for sure, Most of MOBE Courses are very Informative, Valuable Information, So much Valuable Knowledge and It's NOT SCAM, It's real VALUE. So, Please help to Let MOBE REOPEN AGAIN to Normal OPERATIONs to let Many People Bought the Course to Continuing LEARN, PRACTICE and APPLYING Knowledge to MAKE MONEY and FTC SHOULD NOT BAN MOBE's Websites/ DOMAINs like this. We are International Students & Not Relating to US Government Regulation. I Believe on MOBE and I Paid for it & US FTC & US Court Should not Take Valuable Courses from me as I paid Platinum Level just in MAR.2018 and even not Making Money yet, But I Can Apply these Knowledge to Make Money Offline. Thanks & best regards, Ton Hugo
