The company’s name is MOBE – pronounced Mōb, not Moby – but according to , the defendants tell quite a fish story to the consumers they hook with money-making promises.

The nine corporations and three individuals named in the sell “business education” products through web ads, direct mail, and live events. (MOBE stands for “My Online Business Education.”) The defendants claim to have a “simple 21-Step” system consumers can implement to make substantial income “without creating your own products” and “without dealing with customers.” Pitching a “master plan to massive paydays with ease,” they promise that “average people with no prior experience online are depositing $1,250, $3,300, and even $5,500 commissions ” into their bank accounts “on auto-pilot.”

When consumers visit the defendants’ website, they’re taken to a registration page for the 21-Step System, which the defendants initially offer for $49 or less. But that’s just the start. The 21-Step system turns out to be a series of videos. The initial ones offer vague teases about “funnels that have paid out millions and millions of dollars in commissions to people just like you who went through this training” and assurances that later steps will reveal the “secret” method for generating substantial income online. Ultimately, the defendants explain that the “missing ingredient” to making money through the MOBE system is to buy additional tiered memberships and then earn commissions by getting other people to sign up with MOBE, too. According to the defendants, the higher the membership, the greater the commission. Just how pricy are those upper-level memberships? The “Gold Masterclass” costs consumers $4,997 while the “Diamond Mastermind” sets people back a staggering for $29,997.

According to the complaint, the defendants encourage people to place their own social media ads, create websites, use copy-and-paste emails, and record testimonials to get others to sign up for MOBE. They also sell members add-on products – like the email addresses of people likely to buy business opportunities. In addition, the defendants repackage their “system” and sell it under other names. According to one ad, consumers can “discover how a poisoned, brain-damaged man … RAKES IN A 6-FIGURE INCOME FROM HOME AND HOW YOU CAN TOO, GUARANTEED.” (The … and the ALL CAPS are in the original ad.) They also market the “Patriot Funnel System” with the promise that people will “DISCOVER THE SHOCKING $97,337 SECRET A WAR VET UNCOVERED FROM HIS SWEAT-BOX ROOM IN AFGHANISTAN.” The pitch to older consumers and retirees is a so-called “Surefire Way to Create a Six-Figure Retirement Income in Less Than 12 Months.”

But regardless of how the defendants package the system online or at live events, the FTC alleges that the primary thing MOBE sells is more MOBE memberships. As a result, the FTC says that very few people – if anybody – achieved the advertised results and that many consumers found themselves in an even deeper financial hole. That should come as no surprise to the defendants, who themselves admitted in a buried fine-print hyperlink that the “average Consultant, which includes both active and inactive members, generates less than $250 per year.”

What about buyers who want to take the defendants up on their prominent “100% risk-free” promise that “We Guarantee You’ll Be Satisfied With Your Course and Coaching In 30 Days, Or We’ll Happily Give You Your Money Back”? According to the complaint, the defendants often failed to honor their refund policy or imposed onerous hoops through which dissatisfied consumers had to jump.

Filed in federal court in Florida, the challenges the defendants’ earnings claims and refund representations. The Judge issued an ex parte temporary restraining order against principals Matthew Lloyd McPhee (in most MOBE promotions, he goes by Matt Lloyd), Susan Zanghi, and Russell W. Whitney, Jr.; MOBE Ltd.; and eight related corporations. But even at this initial stage, this case – and other recent FTC actions challenging allegedly deceptive money-making promises – suggests that people interested in supplementing their income should be on alert.

Small business owners or others interested in additional earnings are wise to be wary of “systems” that promise substantial passive cash, especially when the system depends on selling others the same “opportunity.” When promoters claim to have the “secret” to making big bucks online, the needle on your malarkey-ometer should be in the red zone. The FTC has to consult before sinking cash into a purported money-making venture.

Since MOBE is based out of Malaysia are they still in operation there? Is the freeze just on the US assets and websites?

First let me start off saying that I have nothing but respect for the FTC, and any other government agency, military branch, police force and any other service that keeps America safe. I start off staying that because I had the pleasure of serving the United States Navy for five years. During my term, I completed one tour of counternarcotics, and two deployments of Iraqi Freedom. After the military, I was able to go to college and graduate from the benefit of Chapter 33, G.I. BILL. Luckily, I was able to be rewarded for my service without paying the astronomical costs of college tuition that Americans have to pay to get a degree that proves they educated enough for a decent paying job. In most situations, if you are lucky, you will be able to pay your tuition off within 15-20 years. I do not make the rules, but that is not the way things should work. I spent about 15 years of working in numerous of different jobs, which I did end up doing a decent paying job but I still had to make the sacrifice of working 70 hrs a week to be able to notice to get promoted in my career. I was tremendously affected by the crash of our financial disaster back in 2008 when I was laid off. After being laid off, I had to start over - I was devastated. With that being said, I learned one of the biggest lessons of my life. I learned that you have to thank god for unanswered prayers because deep down I did not have fulfillment in my life. Shortly after, I met someone that suggested to me to start off as an admissions representative for a trade school. My first thought is that I knew NOTHING about the school other than passing a test. Working at that job I started to realize that I was extremely passionate about helping people. I ended up being so good at it that I was nationally ranked with that company to be the number 1 rep in overall enrollments and retention. What a blessing, but still with all that success I was not able to be promoted to a Directors position until someone gave me a shot to do this that. Unfortunately, that meant me moving have way across the country to accept the position. I contemplated this decision, and I took action, I relocated my whole life. What a payoff because I learned how to lead others in my vision on helping others achieve their goals. Finally, a colleague introduced me to Matt Lloyd business, MOBE, that friend and I worked together in the educational trade school industry. First, I had similar thoughts and feelings about internet marketing - scam. After looking more into it, I realized it was teaching what kid should be learning into school - not algebra (btw I STILL have not used it in my career). After being introduced, I was asked to take my talents to become an independent contractor to become a coach within MOBE. Very scary, but boy did that pay off - not only financially or give me the knowledge that I needed to become a true entrepreneur. It gave me a lot of fulfillment helping students achieve their goals without being in the rat race of a 9-5 job and only getting an average of 1-2 weeks paid vacation most of the people call life. I had the opportunity to be with MOBE as a business coach for over three yrs and worked myself in a situation to learn from some of the best as entrepreneurs that anyone would be grateful to come across. I cannot tell you how many people that I spoke with over the years with me being a coach that have poor mindsets. Being a business coach is no easy task I must say, but for every 20 students that I did not recommend for a chance to be apart of Silver-Diamond - I came across 3-5 that I was able to empower them with a new belief that they to could be successful and they did. Maybe not all financially, but most.... life-changing training that pulled some even out of depression on beating down by society. Something must have rubbed off, during that time I ended up investing in numerous revenue streams. The best part of this is that I helped thousands of students become successful mentally with having a healthy mindset to overcome anything. Luckily, this is one of my passions in life. I am not shocked to see all the messages of support for Matt Lloyd. He is not a typical person the FTC tries to investigate. Typically, I hear about you going after people that are not good people and do all the wrong things. I will be the first to admit this, some protocol needed to be altered to ensure that requests were received better within MOBE. In the educational industry, we call that a "show rate" better terms retention. Allow me to educate if I can below: A college’s retention rate reflects the student body’s overall interest in the college. This figure can explain many factors that compose the attractiveness of a college, including the quality of its teaching staff, the relevance of its curriculum, and the perceived value of what is being taught. The NCES database provides the retention rate figures. The NCES defines retention rate as the percentage of first-time bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree-seeking undergraduates. The study shows that just 56% of college students complete a four-year degree within six years. Only 29% of associate degree seekers complete their two-year program within three years. The most frequent reasons for dropping out include not being prepared for the rigors of academic work, inability to reach an education-life balance, family issues, and financial circumstances. The most controllable, most frequent source of stress for students is money. Lower-income students and those working full time as they attend classes have a higher dropout rate. You can prepare for this by filling out a FAFSA and applying for student aid. If you plan to work while attending classes, make sure that your employer knows what your class schedule is like and that you will be unable to pick up extra hours during those times. Communication is critical for mitigating both financial and family crises, so it’s a good idea to make sure all of the people in your life know what your priorities are. Student Loan Statistics: Total Student Loan Debt: $1.31 trillion Total U.S. Borrowers With Student Loan Debt: 44.2 million Student Loan Delinquency Or Default Rate: 11.2% Total Increase In Student Loan Debt In "Quarter 4" Q4 2016: $31 billion I am not sure if it's in your investigation, but Matt was launching whole new and improved websites for students to go and access training easier. In my opinion, if he had a chance to implement this, he would have increased the overall experience of a student and increase the retention rate to cut down on the "tire kickers" that come to MOBE trying to get rich quick. In my opinion, the FTC or whoever jumped the gun on shutting down his company and ruining lives that he has helped. Not to mention blemishing his brand, which in this industry - almost impossible to build. The only way to make this right is to make sure you allow him the opportunity to finish what he started and try our websites back online! We all have lost thousands of dollars with you potentially jumping the gun. In closing, allow me to state again that I respect and government agency of the United States of America which I proudly served. With all due respect, FTC, you are doing a lot of lives unjustly and making a big mistake. Students that have learned so much from the programs Matt built, MOBE independent contractors that are all entrepreneur on the coaching staff and Matt Lloyd that genuinely cares about his students, Staff, and everyone that comes in contact with him. Not to mention, many of us have invested a lot of money into this program that we can't even watch what we spent into because you shut down access to the training. I am sure that anyone reads this, and thinks.... he’s a coach, that’s why he’s saying it. Not the case at all. One of the best things that I have learned in my time being around Matt is that you can take it all away - from this education that he provides students, they now know how to become successful, need to create - not compete. Thank you for the time to read my message. I hope you see that it comes from the heart. If possible, I would like to make sure the judge or attorneys see this before the court date which we are hoping to be in favor for Matt. To all the MOBE students, consultants readers out there: Keep moving, keep growing, keep learning.

I hopped on board with MOBE at the very end of 2016. I bought into the Platinum level. I am not rich by any means so this was an investment for me in my future. I have been working very very hard to move forward and I feel like I was just about getting there when this all happened. I think MOBE provides over-and-above all that one needs to be successful in internet marketing. There were so many MOBE sites to go to to get the education you needed to move forward in addition to a personal coach. There were also conferences you could attend to get information from instructors who knew their stuff. I agree with Jerry. It is a intensive and thorough education on internet marketing and if one doesn't succeed they haven't done the work. People today want microwave success...that's not how it works! I only hope that the FTC will see that this company is doing all they can to help people succeed and hence will lift the order and let us move forward with our businesses. Thank you!

I joined MOBE in December 2017. I was inspired and committed and ready to make a huge change in my life! It took me about 3 months to complete the 21 Steps. As I went through the steps I was a bit blown away when I found out how expensive positioning was and I honestly had no clue how I would come up with that kind of money to afford it. My coach knew I did not have the money so he recommended I went through MOBE's connections with funding companies as he said the quickest way to success with MOBE was to be positioned at the highest level possible. I ended up investing about 30K with a mix of credit cards and a loan. After the 21 steps I was advised to spend another almost 20K on leads and funnels and another 25K in 1on1 Mentorship which was all in process of being set up along with my $3300 in commissions due to me in June which I probably will never see again since the FTC decided to shut down MOBE's operations and freeze all their assets without warning. My point here is that if the FTC finds MOBE has been conducting in any illegal operations and decide to shut down MOBE permanently, then it is FTC's obligation to make sure all who suffered losses without any gains receive a full refund. I have all receipts of all my payments made to MOBE.

Being raised having an employee mentality it took me more than a year to really need to understand kinds of income sources and kinds of business model that exist that I can learn and do depending of my choice. Before I met MOBE i've been scammed several times on the internet and lost almost everything. It is Only MOBE that you can really talk to real people ( coaches and sponsor and community ) who will guide you that are positive like-minded individuals who thinks, talk, discuss and do and make things happen for the better. other programs you're just sent to a video recordings of the member's website and no real customer support that will answer your concern and MOBE customer support answer are not automated/generic they will be answer according to your concern and you can even call them on the phone if you want. In my opinion, those people who are complaining are the people who did not understand what they wanted and what they are doing and what kind of Business to engage in when looking for a plan B of their financial life. maybe those people who complain don't understand or don't have the understanding about the kind of business models available for them and most likely treating MOBE education as a get rich quick scheme or a job online, In my opinion those complainers have in the back of their mind that after they invested $49 or $97 whatever they will have this cash cow online without learning and educating themselves what a business should be and running it and learn what needs to be learned and implement for them to have the result or the income they want. Maybe most of those who complain are very disappointed and frustrated that they cannot earn as soon as like having a job that after you show up you'll get paid. And maybe they are looking for a magic pill/opportunity that will transform their life financially instantly without doing the work and learning what to do. "things that are worth doing seldom come easy." Maybe those who complain wants to have the results that they desire without changing what they're presently doing. I say that because that was me before I educate myself with the materials/education I got from MOBE.

I invested $30,000 in MOBE and was disappointed at my results. I joined because they had a coaching program so I thought it would help. My coach was inexperienced and didn't seem to know much more than me and I requested to switch coaches. I also bought traffic which resulted in zero sales. Once I began to go through the training I realized I was selling other MOBE memberships which I was uncomfortable with. The training at the masterminds that came with the cost seemed to be good quality. But, I never felt trained adequately to market their classes plus my big hesitation was selling other MOBE memberships. I would have liked to get my money back but felt it was my responsibility as I made the mistake to spend so much up front without truly understanding what I was getting. I thought I would know enough to potentially switch careers and be a full time marketer. If there is a way for Platinum Members who made very little to nothing in sales, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have worked for Mobe as a contractor for almost 3 years. Over these 3 years I have seen, met and interacted with many people who's life has been transformed by Mobe. Complying with the FTC rules and regulations was one of the things that Matt found to be incredibly important something he talked about every week in our team meetings. Considering that I do not think that he would be doing anything that was not legally within the rules of the FTC. Mobe is not a scam, Mobe does not promise anything that was not delivered. If those that purchased the programs chose to not do anything with the extensive training they were given it is not Mobe's fault. I believe that the restraining order against Mobe should be lifted immediately so that those that want to continue their training cannot lose their investments. I know that the FTC is attempting to help people but this is causing so many people so much harm and doing very little good. Thank you

Hi there, I believe you have made a mistake with your case against MOBE. I joined the program and have absolutely loved the training and education I received. I bought the training because I believe it was worth the value I paid, not on the promise of making money. Marketing products through affiliation is commonplace, and evident in every area of business. In addition, the MOBE training system provides much more value than I think the FTC realizes. The product I paid $49 for was worth much more. The product I paid $2500 was worth much more, and so on. I don't believe the FTC actually understands the value that was provided along with the purchase of their training programs. What MOBE provides isn't just a 'make money fast' opportunity. They provide a training platform for people who might never have had an entrepreneurial fire to find that fire. The online courses - which are the real value in my opinion - take people through every level of personal development, so that you may find success not just financially, but in all aspects of life. The coaching system is the same, the value I received from learning from business coaches was incredible, and worth much, much more than I paid. I am deeply upset that the FTC has stolen my training materials. Every way I look at it, it is theft. As a consumer, I made an educated decision to purchase training materials. The company delivered on my purchase, and I was satisfied. Then the FTC stole what I bought. That is theft, which is a criminal activity. I want my property back. I don't mean to be rude, but I am very upset that the FTC of the United States can trample on my rights as a consumer in a foreign country, to make a calculated and educated decision to purchased a product I want. MOBE fulfilled everything they said they would, every step of the way. I was never promised that I'd make money. In fact, I was clearly made aware that most people never make any money. I was clearly made aware that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to succeed in online marketing, no matter what you're promoting. In closing, I believe that MOBE, Matt Lloyd and all partners and great people, that the company itself has done much much much much more good than harm, and that the overwhelming majority of people who have purchased MOBE products are happy with their decision, happy with the products, and really want them to be returned by the FTC. Thank you for reading, and I hope that you'll make the right decision. Kind regards,
Wenyan

Please be fair to everyone. Please give us voice to say. Please do lessen to us as we are all real. If you need us to be in the court we will be there. I am the one finding MOBE. I was so excited when I knew MOBE. After all the research I knew MOBE is the one I would like to invest myself. I invested almost $85K in MOBE. And be aware, I am not a gambling person. In fact, I never buy any lottery in my life. Because I don’t believe any of the push button to success program. I am the one willing to put my work on and make it work. Working hard is never a problem to me. I haven’t been to any masterminds which I invested almost $60K. However, by only master one of the program MOBE offered – 3 days mentorship program, which costs $25K, I felt like I got the Doctor’s Degree in Online Business. In those 3 days, my mentor sat next to me and guided me step by step how to connect all those little pieces together and made it works. Before and after those 3 days, MOBE had weekly webinar to support us to get all our questions to be answered. We’ve been putting to the real world while learning. In one year of this kind of intensive training and practicing I felt like a doctor, who can know what’s going on by looking at the symptoms (data) and knowing exactly how to fix it. It’s pretty hard for people to understand the price and the value here if they haven't experience themselves. 3-day costs $25K? It’s crazy, right? But, it saves me years for me to figure out how to do it myself and not to mention how much it will cost me to try and fail and try and fail again and again and maybe eventually give up my dream. I am pretty sure those masterminds I invested will be well worth than the 3-day mentorship program. MOBE taught me how to manage my time, how to handle my cash flow, how to handle the stress, how to work hard and focus on one skill at a time and master that skill, then move on… I am very positive in MOBE training programs and would like to learn from MOBE in the long-term bases. The world needs a spirit, a culture, a belief and a dream. Please reinstated MOBE to wherever it was. Please give us the right to choose what education we want. Please don't destroy our dreams to get the second life. Most of us in MOBE are hardworking people, who live in a situation where no matter how hard we work or what we are doing just cannot change anything in our life. MOBE is the hope to us. It was built for us. Matt Lloyd's from humble beginning. He experienced entire process from knowing nothing to be an expert. By returning back to the world, he works hard to put all these little pieces together to benefit us as regular people, to educate and train us to become a real entrepreneur. The lucrative commission is by him from his heart. Lots of companies will not even let you know about that, but Matt Lloyd shares the profit with us. He works days and nights for 10 years to make MOBE better and better; to create more and more newbies to become successful people, just like early stage of himself. The journey to be a real entrepreneur is not easy and not for everyone as he always said, but it's possible. And the result depends on how hard you work on your business to make it works hard for you. However, compare to those who are newbies and still want to become successful in a short period of time, but without MOBE training programs, it can be super hard and even not possible. And that’s why you are seeing the advertisement the word of “easy”. But it’s not as easy as push a button to success. No one will say that in MOBE. Please understand and listen to our voice. If possible, I believe lots of us will willing to come to the court and protect Matt Lloyd and MOBE. Because we are protecting the future of the online world – Be honest, sincere and professional while doing business online. There are so many people out there doing business online by chasing people, by bothering other people’s life, by scamming other people’s hard money, but not MOBE. Here is the real example I recently faced. I was buying $1000 marketing digital product online. I was able to talk to the guy easily before I bought the product. But I couldn’t contact him after I bought my product, even though I have his cell phone. However, in MOBE, you barely see it happened. If it does happen it’s because the system has problem sometimes. But once we know we got a sale, we will congrats them and will have clear instruction to guide them how to do next. We never chase people to buy from us. Instead, we provide solutions and options for our clients to do their own informed decision. Matt Lloyd does what he says he will do and teaches us to be that person as well. In fact, most of our clients are become our friends. By shutting down MOBE, you shut down our dream, our hope and the hope of the future online business world. We demand all MOBE sites be reinstated to the proper owners of the Company and be allowed to run as it always has.

My complaint is not with MOBE but with the FTC. How can you post "findings" when MOBE hasn't even gone to court? The title alone should be against the law and influential. My husband and I have been with MOBE for 6 months. We are diamond consultants. The coaches we've had throughout our training are excellent. They have helped us every step of the way. I've never worked with a business that had their student's and consultant's success at heart. Everyone helped everyone. No back stabbing. All of MOBE ads and contracts have disclaimers about the typical amount of money earned. You also have to work at your business. Not sit back and wait for the money to appear and when it doesn't, call foul. We, along with other consultants, are very angry at having our business and training disrupted at a critical time. I pray that MOBE and Matt Lloyd are back in business after the 26th. If not, we have learned enough to branch out on our own and start a business.

From what I understand it doesn't matter if MOBE was based in Malaysia, the majority of complaints were from customers living in the United States. The Malaysian government will sit back and let the U.S. government and FTC do their thing. If they try to halt the investigation and court hearing it will give people the impression that they were aiding and abetting a company involved in deceptive business practices. Think about this for a second,GDPR was a law created by the European Union but U.S. based businesses must still comply with it.

On October 18th, 2017, I went for a 2 hour orientation in Orlando, Fl. and Russell Whitney who works for Matt Lloyd McPhee was the speaker there. At that time during the session; people started to get up and go to the back of the room to purchase the program for the 21 Steps at $497. Two weeks after, on November 3-5, I went to the Home Business Summit in Orlando, Fl. During those three days was when they kind of pressured you and talk you into positioning yourself to the highest level which is Diamond with a cost of $65,000 and telling you that you will make $100K in a year if you sell 5 of their products and that you will get back whatever you invested in the program plus your $100K. They also tell you that you should position yourself at the highest level so that you won't pass up any money from the sales you make. That being said, they have a Silver/Gold, Titanium, Platinum and Diamond levels. Since I was not able to afford the Diamond level, as it was so expensive; I positioned myself at Platinum in order not to lose so much in whatever commissions I were to make. This positioning at Platinum cost me $30,000 in order to be able to have the Business Coach – (Michael Gayeski) who also works for Matt Lloyd give me the green light to start my 21 Steps. After I finished the 21 Steps in December, I was assigned a Traffic Coach – (Matt Heltzel) who also works for Matt Lloyd and he suggested that I purchase WSGT leads and that it would be better that I purchase 100 @ $249.00 each because that way I would have a better chance of making good money since some would not like the program and would unsubscribe and not continue to do business. This being said, and not knowing what would happen, I listened to him and I invested $22,900 in those 100 leads and about 30 did not continue with the program probably because of seeing that it was not for them or because they said that it was a scam. During the month of February, March and April, I had made $8,035.00 for some commissions from the leads I had who had also purchased the 21 Steps, and up to this day, I have not received a penny. Also, someone from the Ewallet employees changed my email address which MOBE had registered me under in order to have my commissions transferred from MOBE’s account to my Ewallet and then I would be able to transfer it to my bank account. It seems like people were committing fraud everywhere. I had funded my program with credit cards and now I have to pay for all that money I invested and there is no way possible that I will be able to pay. I live on a month to month fixed income Social Security check and that is why I got into this thinking that it was going to work for me and have some financial freedom for whatever years I have left to live but things did not turn out to be what I was expecting. I hate to say this, but it looks like I will have to file for bankruptcy which is the last thing I would like to do especially at my age. I would appreciate all the help you can give me in trying to recuperate my investment back and also anyone else out there who is in the same boat I am in.

I joined Mobe on April 8, 2017 while recuperating from a spine surgery which I incurred from work. Since then, I was looking for an opportunity online as I know I can't do anything else while recovering from that surgery. At that time, I was in an MLM business but my income dived down because I couldn't meet up with my new prospects because of my condition. With my income from my regular job, it also decreased because I'm under the Employment Ordinance compensation. Right there & then, I realized that I should think of another stream of income just in case I won't be able to go back to my work as a flight attendant. Mobe is an answered prayer for me. I saw an ad in Facebook about the free online business workshop & I registered for the free event that was held in Hong Kong on March 2017. I saw the possibilities & moved on & registered for the 3 day training which we call Home Business Summit (HBS). I beg to disagree to the comments of the others that they didn't learn anything from the HBS. I can't relate to them 'coz I learned a lot how an online business can give me an income by boosting my own business with the help of the internet. And yes, we were introduced to the affiliate program of Mobe which at that time I found more attractive so I let go of my traditional businesses. Since I'm coachable (unlike others who I'm sure are the ones complaining who didn't earn in Mobe!), I just leverage on the system 'coz I'm completely new to this online business & all. In fact, after the free workshop & before attending the 3 days training, I already researched about Mobe. Even I saw a lot of articles pointing to Mobe as a scam, looking at what it has to offer, I'm still convinced that I know they're offering a good education & I wanted to hear more. They're very transparent in their website how much those high ticket or back end products costs. That's why I'm wondering why these people who are complaining about Mobe feels like they were caught in surprise or like hold up victims. For me, before I invested my hard-earned money, IT'S GOOD THAT YOU RESEARCH FIRST & in my opinion, I NEVER EXPERIENCED IN ANY WAY THAT I WAS ROBBED BY MOBE. I spent more than US$60k in my investments in Mobe for my education, for myself & never felt that I was robbed off because it's entirely my decision 100%. AND I NEVER REGRET ANYTHING! My only regret was that I didn't attend earlier the mastermind events that's part of my investment 'coz I kept delaying it. 'Coz I was focused into implementing what I've learned from my Mobe business & traffic coach. I tell my friends who joined with me in Mobe to really focus on this & give it time 'coz what you invested ($$$) is no joke! But I have friends & family who joined, who actually didn't start doing anything even after they invested. Do you think they will earn? NO! If you are not 100% passionate on this, you won't succeed on this! But if you just give this time & focus & never stop learning & implementing or just be consistent & persistent in doing this, YES, you will really go far. I'm one proof that if you implement what Mobe is teaching us, the results that they keep on saying THAT YOU'LL EARN US$100K in one year is ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE. YES, IT'S NOT TYPICAL BUT IT'S POSSIBLE! It happened to me & in fact, because of Mobe, I'm already ready to leave my regular job as I get to spend more time with my family now. For one year with Mobe, I never missed a single activity of my kids as my income from Mobe can already sustain our monthly expenses & even more! What I will never forget that how Mobe's affiliate program was able to help me... I was able to sustain my dad's financial needs when he had cancer. I was able to afford his hospital, medicines & therapy expenses. I was able to give him a decent burial, that my regular income isn't sufficient! That's just one example! So this status of Mobe right now, robbed "us" ( who are relying on Mobe financially & who are actually following what Mobe taught us with applying our own strategy as well) of our monthly reliable income, our life! This is devastating for us! Good thing Mobe also taught us to have other sources of income as well. That's why I really cannot understand why people kept on complaining that this is a scam. Well for me, if you think that this is a scam, then THIS IS THE BEST SCAM ever! Mobe made my life even better, financially & emotionally! I was working as a flight attendant for almost 25 years now but never earned as much as what I'm earning from Mobe. And I am a slave to my job's roster. What I earned from Mobe in less than a year, I have never earned yet in 25 years as an employee. Because of what I learned from Mobe, I never want to be an employee again. Being an entrepreneur is the only thing in this world that can give you a residual income, which I am already experiencing until this FTC shut down. One more thing, I attended lots of live events in Mobe in Asia. They always reminded the attendees that this affiliate program they're offering isn't a get rich quick scheme. In fact, they also say that if this isn't what you think it is that you thought can make you rich right away even without doing much, this isn't for you. This also requires hard work! They also refund on that same day of the 3 days training if you think that it isn't for you. So I really feel sorry for others who say that they're having a hard time refunding. With the people I sponsored, I didn't have a problem at all. Yes, on the other hand, this business is not perfect. No business is. But if my support ticket is taking so long, I just follow up & they reply right away. Mobe is a big community. The support staff is just a handful. I understand them. Sometimes they overlook 'coz in my experience, I was handled very well. Maybe because I am patient? Whoever complaining about the support of Mobe, I compare them to my passengers in the plane. They often say that we are not answering an attendant call for over an hour when the flight itself actually only has an hour and a half flying time! The 5 minutes waiting time of the passengers felt they've been waiting for over 30 minutes! It's really typical for a person who doesn't know how to wait. And to make them feel better, they point to other's mistakes. Well, in fact, they have mistakes, too, that they don't want to admit. Please bring back MOBE to us! You are the ones robbing us of the life we deserve. This shut down caused us to lose an income that we use to sustain our monthly needs. I'm just starting so this shut down is still a big blow for me. So to those haters & bashers, DON'T BE TOO SELFISH! LOOK AT BOTH SIDES! ADMIT THAT YOU DO HAVE SHORTCOMINGS, TOO! You didn't earn anything from Mobe coz you're not doing enough! Whatever you've invested in, TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESSES, IT TAKES EFFORT & TIME SO YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL & CAN ACHIEVE RESULTS. This shouldn't be taken as just a hobby! Be passionate on this! Work on it as if this is your last hope to success. 'Coz if not, then for sure, you won't achieve the results you're being told to. But it isn't the fault of that company you invested in. The only thing you don't achieve success is because of yourself! No one else to blame but YOU!

Just because few people complain many of us will suffer? How about us? There are thousands of affiliates, employees, entrepreneurs "ACROSS THE GLOBE" who are doing business and training with MOBE. We, who found the value of education from MOBE and "work hard" and "spend thousands of dollars" to set-up our own business (like any other business) will suffer just because there are FEW who give-up! How about these people who learned the power of digital marketing? The people who continuously learning to create their own product online, associating those training programs with their business. How about us? MOBE is an educational system both online and offline. If those people who claimed that they did not get the value of what they paid for, most probably they did not apply the training courses that were given to them.

I joined Mobe and I didn't really understand the business. I thought just watching the videos could show me what to do. They kinda did, but you also have to reach audience that wants in or you're sunk pretty much unfortunately. I did not see success but others did for sure.

MOBE is a legitimate business model and does not overpromise. I grew up in a small business, ran my family's medium-sized company for 11 years, and I only wish I had the tools that MOBE teaches about while I was running that business. My experience with MOBE has been great, and my income generated has been within expectations. I put very little work into it, but I've generated business within or above the expected average amounts. Many people make money in MOBE and many people don't make money. That is what business is. There are no guarantees. Even a franchise business with a proven model for success can be a failure with the wrong operator. I have never been misled by MOBE. In fact, I notice that they go to lengths to provide us with what to expect when we buy into the programs, such as calculating historic data to be able to let us know the average results that others have been able to achieve. Most people within the MOBE community know that if we do the work, we will earn. The education itself cannot be found anywhere else and it is extremely valuable. My opinion of this FTC shutdown is that it is a threat to how business is developed in America. Online business is a new model, but this action of the FTC makes it feel like less of the free country that America generally is in regards to being able to do business. Innocent people are not receiving payments that are owed to them, that they earned through their businesses. That is the net effect currently and if this continues beyond the initial hearing and ties up everyone's earned income, that would be a huge shame. Also, I want to have access to all of the educational material and coaching that I paid for. I cannot find that type of information and coaching anywhere else. It is valid and valuable education. Please release MOBE.

I have been with MOBE since February 2018. I was able to attend the IM Freedom Workshop for FREE. Then I received in my email "You can go through the 21 step training and work with a coach that will help you learn how to build an online business" which I grabbed. True enough I did get to finish my 21 Steps with a coach and no payment collected. It is very educational and practical that it can be applied to any form of business. I am a regular affiliate but wants to continue with my training. I'm still saving money to be able to upgrade to a license affiliate. When I learned that they are looking for people to be a part of the coaching team I applied and they accepted me. It is a great learning process indeed. Though I've been with the team for only 21 days before MOBE was shutdown it is a terrible loss for me. I consider them as my virtual family because they are amazing people to work with, hard-working with a desire to succeed. MOBE has a desire to help other people. Any person who wants to succeed in life must be willing to put in time and effort for their income to grow. It's not because you paid a certain amount it will just miraculously double or triple. You need to apply your learning that's the purpose of the 21 Steps and the traffic mastery course. Make the system work for you. You need to be willing to invest not only your money but as well as your time and effort if you really want to succeed. I have been given the opportunity to learn for free and accepted to be one of their business coaches. MOBE is not greedy or after anyone else's money which others want to believe. I can attest to that.

They are deceptive and run like a Ponzi / Pyramid scheme!! I do know a few people who have invested thousands in programs from them they also spent on adverts and marketing and never saw a penny on their ROI They deserve to be shut down. I don't care what happens to the top earners as I feel they know more than they are saying.

I have been a part of MOBE for about a year now. I enrolled into a 21 Steps Online Business Training then I enrolled into the Silver + Gold Master Class. As promised both all the three training provide a lot of value to people who want to start an online business. The Silver MasterClass shows how you can become an entrepreneur online and start your own business. The Gold MasterClass shows the entire Customer Acquisition Formula. Other than that you can also become a Consultant of MOBE which is optional. When you become a Consultant you can also promote the same products to other people earning a very good commission. If anyone is in Affiliate Marketing of Digital Products this is pretty much the way all affiliate marketing works. I know people who do a job and also try affiliate marketing for side income. I know people who join these kind of programs when they don't know how to earn money online. MOBE is the first company that I really got real value from the training as well as the Consulting Program. I hope the FTC is able to see this and let go of MOBE. Because by blocking MOBE they have already put a lot of people at Risk. People who found hope in doing something with the help of MOBE. Yes MOBE does not work if you do not do the work. That is part and parcel of all the systems out there. Even our Universities and Colleges who take 10x time more fees cannot guarantee that we can get a job and if we get a job we will do a good job because of that education. That is dependent on personal experience and willingness to work in the right way. Hope that truth, trust and GOD prevails.

The knowledge is updated continuously, in addition to every day I also receive mail daily business secret. The support system is very good, we are resolved within 24 hours. Mobe makes my life better and happier every day. Please take time to read my letter and have a different view on mobe. Sincerely thank.

To whom it may concern at the FTC - I believe the action again MOBE was as a result of 168 complaints. Well, we have over 2000 signatures on a petition from people who purchased a legitimate online education product from MOBE - a product that your action has now caused them not to have access to - and the FTC says they are 'protecting consumers?' It seems to me that your action is harming more consumers that it is seeking to 'protect!' The affiliate marketing component of MOBE was secondary to the education, and no one was forced to take up the affiliate marketing component of MOBE. However, the affiliate marketing side of things is far from a 'get rich quick' scheme. It requires you to build an online marketing business, if you don not already have an affiliate marketing business to which you can add MOBE to your marketing mix. Every one of those 168 people have a free will, do they not? I suspect they simply did not put in the work required to start a business. Whether online or 'bricks-n-mortar' shopfront, starting a new business requires work! The first year of our business, we worked 12 hours days in front of our computer! Now those 168 lazy non-starts are seeking to bring a good company down to pacify their guilt so they can say 'I was scammed!' How pathetic! Get off your butt and work, and stop with the excuses, and asking the Government to cover your lazy butt just so you can clear your guilty conscience. Just as well you left, as you weren't cut out for MOBE anyway. This is a business opportunity for real entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs hold themselves accountable. The education is there fore you in spades - more than you can consume in a lifetime! If you choose not to apply it, however, you have no-one to blame but yourselves. 168 complaints vs 2000 names on a petition to bring MOBE back? You do the math, FTC. Thank you.

Hello...these people are not selling anything. For you to make money someone lost that money. There is no products, the product is the selling of LIES. These people should be horse whipped in public, and that should be only the beginning of their punishment. It sounds like some of them are posting here, and they have no conscience. These are psychopaths.

I can agree with both sides of this issue. My investment is 70k. The education does have value but the way you are promoting it is questionable. The financial side of this is very questionable. They had a funding company handle mine. The traffic is horrible and cost a fortune, and you are told you need to buy this that and the other if something don't work. I want to make one thing perfectly clear. I got my traffic coach in April and I worked my butt off. I only made the small commissions on the WSGT. Facebook refused to work with me from day one. That's when I started to wonder if this was going to be a problem. Then I was told we needed to try something different which of course cost more money. I do believe this is a scam when it comes to making money.

I joined Mobe back in 2014, and from the very beginning I was treated with a lot of respect regarding my education of being a successful entrepreneur. Since then I have attended a titanium and platinum mastermind and I can tell you the training and education I received cannot be surpassed anywhere or by any college. I have already done a lot with my short life thus far, serving my country while being in the NAVY 4 years, traveling the world, graduating culinary, massage, respiratory therapy and cooking school, so I've had a lot of life experience and specifically as a student/graduate. I can attest that the lessons I have retained from educational products I have purchased from Mobe have not only made me a better internet education salesman, but have made me a better Massage Therapist , and Respiratory Therapist . I don't think there is"a perfect business" in existence, and I include government sponsored and run businesses in that last phrase. I am definitely for positive changes and Mobe may need to make a few minor adjustments with their messages, however for the amount of people's lives that have been changed for the better because of Mobes value in education is remarkable. There are always lazy folks out there who want something for nothing, just as there are those who complain. I think the entitlement mindset is something we ought to make efforts at changing in our fine country. In the military you could try and sit around and complain, but you would get in trouble eventually some people were kicked out of boot camp and they forfeited their chance to serve America. I can honestly say that like most and probably all successful companies could make some changes with how they market if heavily scrutinized. I think the consumers who are complaining are just not willing to take responsibility for learning and then taking action upon what they have learned, sad, but in present day time you have more people looking for a handout, crying, being lazy, and expecting something for nothing, just weighing the action takers down. I was encouraged but never pressured to upgrade my membership of which I became a diamond member. Really do think Mobe deserved another chance to change a few things, get back on track and continue serving and educating its customers and making a difference in the world and in people's lives as it has done for mine and my family's.

I've spoken with the banks and was told that no USA bank would refund money to anyone involved in this case. The best possibility is that we must wait until all the proceedings are done and see if there is a ruling that mobe must give some type of reimbursement to affiliates. Unfortunately that could be a long time coming.

Investing in MOBE was one of the best things I've ever done. It always takes long for me to decide on whether I should invest on something, especially I'm aware that the price of this investment is much higher than how it's normally valued in the market. I was responsible for reading all of the disclaimers and asked all necessary questions and MOBE has always repeatedly said that results are not typical and it takes hard work to get such extraordinary results — Not like the typical scam companies. For someone with no business experience and one who wants to change her life, MOBE has provided the proper business education that I haven't seen this granular versus the other courses I've tried online. I even appreciate the nicely packaged lesson materials they sent right to my address. MOBE has always emphasized how its program can HELP us succeed in our business, BUT clearly with the right work ethics and persistence. I'm sorry to hear those who have complained, but I think the company was also clear about the risk in this investment especially if we don't get to do our part. For those of us who just recently invested in the past 3 months or so, FTC we each still have a long way to go, and personally I'm not even at 5% of all the online courses I've paid for in MOBE. If there are any shortcomings on MOBE's end, I hope these are things that can only be revisited and greatly improved out of open-mindedness and fair procedures. A complete shutdown does not solve the issue in the interest of clients who have already advanced in their journey and likewise especially for those who truly want to work for their return on investment. Please bring back MOBE and our access to this valuable materials. Everything we've invested here is real and serves a great cause for our own personal lives.

I was very sorry and surprised to hear what happened to MOBE. I am silver/gold and am pleased with my coaches, mentors and the like, their training material is right on and like any other business you have to do the work, , The education they offer is fantastic and challenging as any good education should be; i truly hope to see MOBE get back on their feet as i would truly like to continue getting funding so that i can learn more, They have an incredible set of tools that they use and i for one was very proud to say that i was with MOBE and enjoyed what they were teaching and doing,,, Good Luck Matt... hope to see you in the future!!

A year and a half ago,I answered an email that typically I would've just deleted. It mentioned an opportunity to make money in my spare time on the internet. Knowing there is money to be made online and the fact that I was trying to find a more positive way to spend said spare time, I went through with watching a compelling video and spending a refundable$97. At present time, the only thing negatively impacting that decision, is this shut down. My entire being was changed for the better with Mobe. I received all the necessary training to make life changing amounts of money. While I have been able to replace much of my investment into myself, my education, and my business, the profits above that sit in my back office account unable to now reach my bank due to the complaints of a few unmotivated or unwilling people to follow a business model that does actually benefit greatly the people that do follow it. There were never claims made to me that this would be easy or free. There is no such scenario. There are many tools that are no longer available to me that I was benefiting from to further my business,so in my opinion, it's my own U.S. government holding me back, not Mobe. Upon getting the incredible benefit to actually meet Matt Lloyd in person, he showed a kindness, respect and generosity that you see in all his incredible trainings and videos. What you see is what you get at all times. He has only the desire to see people's life change for the better. He has dedicated his life to this as is evident in what he has built. He takes time every day to make a video answering the questions of people in business. He doesn't sugar coat anything. If you don't have or can't get necessary capital for business, it probably isn't time to have one, and 700 more such advise blogs.. While the FTC certainly has a place to step in and help consumers in unfortunate situations, this particular one should be handed back to Matt and the multitudes of us that leverage this business correctly.

It's unfortunate that our society has devolved to the point where a person is no longer capable, nor responsible, to make an educated decision for themselves and requires the heavy hand of a government agency to intercede, "for their protection." As a traditional business owner that had failed in the past, to the point of losing my home and owing back taxes for years, when I decided to start another business, I knew I needed to learn sales and marketing in order to prevent a recurrence of my previous failures. That search led me to MOBE, its educational products, and its live training events. I've spent as much on my education with MOBE as I did on my B.S. degree and I feel I've gotten more out of it than I did from college. In MOBE, just like college, I've met people that paid and didn't show up, didn't study, didn't ask any questions, and they complain about how they can't do what's necessary to succeed. That's not a valid reason to shut down a college, and it's not a valid reason to cut off access to my education and that of many other clients of this business. If the company needs to re-frame its marketing message, so be it, but the business should be allowed to continue. It's frustrating to me, that so many should suffer a loss, because of a handful of people that would rather whine than work.

My husband and I went to our first summit in February and after an intense 3 day training, we were convinced to go Diamond with a total cost package of $85,000. After taking money out of my 401k and working with one of their referring credit repair companies, they assisted us in applying and receiving multiple credit cards in both of our names to pay the remaining balance. We even booked and paid for a Mastermind training in October 2018, that has now been cancelled. To date, we have not made a single dime back. We are both in our mid sixties, and even though I was initially hesitant, we were convinced that this was our answer to financial freedom. We have/had our own website, FBI page, paid for funnels, mailing lists, etc. Guess I won't be retiring as soon as I thought.

I have been searching and researching about mobe before I go in. I graduated from a good college and is working at a hospital with 6 figure income. I decided to join Mobe because they were able to offer me the things that I need. Mobe's training, mindset, and coaches are wonderful and remarkable. All the top earner did not just got there without a fight. The learning curves are steep. You need to work to get the kind of result to have financial freedom. I was working day and night to pursue this dream. I had many sleepless night just trying to learn and figure things out. I have learned so much things about how to carry out an online business, how to create funnel, mass email, and how to run a Facebook campaign. Mobe have taught me something that I never get to learn from school. Although I have not made a lot of money by i am at the point to see major breakthrough. Mobe is not a scam, but its kind of business model only fits the kind of people that has the right kind of mindset to utilize what they are trying to teach. Unfortunately, it's the people that couldn't pull it together that squeals the loudest. It is most likely that mobe does have some issues to perfecting its business, especially dealing with the unhappy or the not so potentially strong clients who requested refunds. mobe needs to work on develope better customer service. That is doable. Overall, mobe did a modest job and trained many people and creates many lifetime opportunities results. I appreciate I have the chance to be part of mobe. Please reinstate all business for Mobe. I cannot wait to see mobe proof themselves to be a legitimate company.

I pour my heart out with thanks and gratitude to Matt Lloyd and MOBE… I come from a corporate environment where I had as many as 50 plus people reporting to me. I have learned very early to focus on surrounding myself with like-minded individuals. It's about long-term relationships, not the now. Build Loyalty....not sales! You can’t put a dollar amount on Integrity....and without Integrity, you have nothing. I wholeheartedly believe in MOBE and Matt Lloyd with the amount of integrity and loyalty Matt offered his team and affiliates. My company was sold back in 2014 and I knew it was just a matter of time that I would loose my job. I was offer other high level positions but that meant me moving to the other side of country 5,000 miles away from my daughter and granddaughters. I was a VP of Marketing and Product development in the online travel technology and travel loyalty industry. I worked 60 plus hour a week and made $250,00+ with bonuses. I come from a large family and I am number 6 of 7 kids. I did not graduate college; as a matter of fact I did not even attend my high school graduation. I climbed the ladder in the corporate world as I mentioned above. I am telling you this because I want you to understand my decision and reasons why I joined MOBE in 2015. MOBE offered me the education, tools and support to start my own company and live the way I wanted too. I got into the Internet marketing business. I no longer report to anyone but myself, I have a great team that loves what they do with me and I love the time freedom, the travel freedom and the lifestyle. I started out with the 21-step program MOBE offered and realized right away that this was the company that I could grow with and become very successful. I bought all the way to the Diamond level in addition to many other courses offered by MOBE. The education was invaluable. I never felt at any time that MOBE could be a scam. MOBE is very strict on compliance, and this was emphasized during every event I ever attended. MOBE has been very generous to all its members to become successful entrepreneurs, online and offline. I went to all events when I first started; Super Charge Summit, Titanium, Platinum, and Diamond Masterminds. I meet life long friends and spent many hours talking with Matt on strategies of building my business. Matt always said you that you must take massive action and to be consistent to grow a profitable and sustainable business. It is sad for those who did not take his advise and failed at this but you cannot blame MOBE or Matt and his team. Everyone who bought the education MOBE offers had access to online resources 24/7 and with the MOBE team behind them 100%. The legal action against Matt Lloyd by people who obviously failed to grow with the company is unfair. When I launched my business I earned just shy $100,000 in my first six months. I knew if I continued to follow the MOBE program and continue to educate myself with all the new training and coaching that MOBE offered I would far surpass what I made at my JOB and I would live the way the way I wanted to. In August of 2016 I had to have knee surgery and during pre testing I failed my EKG causing me to see a cardiologist. He approved my surgery however I had to go back and see him for further testing. After multiple tests I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. On Dec 8th 2016 I had lung surgery, followed by the beginning of Chemo Treatments. In October 2017, I was told I needed another knee surgery and I had to be off chemo for 6 weeks, which meant was missing two treatments in order for my knee to heal. I started back on Chemo and went in for my 9 week pet scan only to find out my cancer had metastasized into my spine causing multiple compound fractures. Today I see an Oncologist every 3 weeks, Cardiologist once a month, Gastroenterologist every 6 weeks and now a Neurologist… I have been on Chemo every three weeks for 18 month and now a new debilitating drug for my bones that keeps me from working about a week out of the month. Why is it important for me to tell you this? My Company fell apart and on the verge of bankruptcy due to my lack of Focus, Action, and Consistency that Matt Lloyd stressed all the time that you will fail if you do not follow that direction. Am I blaming MOBE and Matt for my failure? On the contrary… I am thanking Matt and MOBE every day. In October of 2017 Matt provided me with a position of being MOBE Mentor helping MOBE students launch their business. This was an opportunity for me to get back into business. To not only coach people on how to and get their company up and running but allowing me to get my business back up and running. I was able to catch up on long over due training with new things happening in the industry and to give me a purpose to get up every day and help people. The legal action against Matt Lloyd by people who obviously failed to grow there the company is unfair. It is like me a student who failed in school blaming the school for my failure to complete and graduate and in the process those who are doing good and are supposed to graduate never did because the school was shut down base on a malicious complaint. Hopefully sound minded FTC officials will not allow the few people who failed with this program to bring down the many who worked hard to succeed in this business. MOBE is a real business, and offers coaching programs. I know I’m one of the coaches, and real results did not come from promoting programs but from applying what you learn from them in your own business. The skills I teach my students enable them to have the know-how of launching and running an enterprise successfully whether online or offline. Allow MOBE to review the complaints and determine what needs to be paid back to those that complained. And as the FTC, where you feel there is misrepresentation, let MOBE be advised to change the wording used in a way that will comply with FTC rules and BBB rules. Due to my medical condition I depend on MOBE’s training programs, courses and events for my small business and to continue to grow as an entrepreneur, to come down heavy with a permanent shutdown is reckless and endangers innovation and creativity for future generations. Please don’t shut out the hope, desires and dreams of what I have and all other affiliates and future generation’s to come.

Totally Agree with Charli, people expect everything for FREE, and NO, it is not for free, you are supposed to work hard in order to acomplish your own goals, dont be lazy, grow the fuck up and understand that it is not MOBE fault, its the cultural background that has taught you to be lazy and hope everything comes for free, thats not how life works, really sad the FTC shut down MOBE, millions of familys depend on MOBE and probably dont even have a plate of food on their table, People where actually given 30 day money back guarantee after purchasing their products, after they forget the time frame they call upset? again grow the fuck up, the only company that deserves to be suited is the FTC given the lack of responsibility by closing a company on which thousands of families depend on. GROW the fuck up.

I am extremely disappointed that the FTC would move for a unilateral shutdown of all the MOBE sites by way of a TRO. By doing so, the FTC is causing irreparable damage to my colleagues and fellow entrepreneurs and their families by depriving them of income from their businesses which promote MOBE and it's valuable products. There are thousands of legitimate business owners who have MOBE and Matt Lloyd to thank for their success. I am among them, in that I am a Diamond Member, who is Not a so-called "insider", and I have begun to generate a decent income for my family with my online business, as a result of my training with MOBE. I have been able to do this in approximately a year's time. I have done this in spite of the fact that I had no affiliate marketing experience. This is the result of the training and coaching support at MOBE. It is second to none, and under Matt Lloyd's leadership, it continues to get better and better. Now, the FTC is effectively causing these business owners to incur losses that stagger the imagination. My income not only as a consultant, but also a business coach for MOBE has been shut off without warning. Therefore, my family has lost one of two incomes. My colleagues are similarly situated, therefore, the hardship imposed by the shutdown of MOBE by the FTA has caused hardship among the 100's of MOBE employees and 1000's of MOBE consultants. The reason for such shutdown, based on my reading of the pleadings, seems to be that a few people who invested in MOBE's education, but were unwilling to put in the work and commitment to make their business successful are whining about losing money. People who fail to become successful invest in business educations all the time, yet universities, trade schools and other educational companies are not being shut down be the FTC. It strikes me as wholly unfair and prejudicial. As a basic business coach with MOBE, I have gone through substantial training along with my colleagues, to make sure that we provide our students with value that substantially exceeds the $49.00 our students pay for our core product (the 21 Step Business System). I can attest to the fact that the online education program Matt Lloyd developed provides immeasurable value to aspiring online entrepreneurs all over the world. Not only are the 21 Business Steps and subsequent traffic training available to them, but as coaches, we provide free entrepreneur books, motivational materials,as well as live support and coaching, for our students, While working as a basic business coach, I supported and provided advice to my students, whether they were able to afford the Silver Masterclass or not. MOBE has developed countless other products, beyond the 21 Step program, that regular affiliates can promote for a very reasonable cost of $19.95 a month. For my students who were unable to afford the Silver Masterclass, I encouraged them to continue through their steps and get the valuable business and traffic training, and I let them know they could promote MOBE's products to small business and online business owners. In the 21 Step program, Matt Lloyd encourages his students in a similar way. The program itself is set up in such a way as to cater to anyone who purchases the program---1.) Those who come to MOBE because they want to learn to promote their own businesses or products online; and 2.) Those who are interested in becoming MOBE consultants. I wholly disagree that myself and my colleagues engage in "high pressure" tactics. As a successful trial attorney for 21 years, I resigned from my job as a Senior Litigator with one of the largest Plaintiff's firms in Texas when I discovered MOBE. I thought the training was amazing, and I was very impressed by the integrity of our CEO, Matt Lloyd. I was NEVER pressured by either my basic or my senior business coach. Matt's program and the unending training that MOBE makes available to it's affiliates made it obvious to me that this was an excellent investment. This material would be valuable to ANY aspiring online entrepreneur who was interested in learning to promote and market anything online. On behalf of myself and the thousands of others who have built legitimate businesses promoting MOBE, to impose any further restraint upon MOBE from proceeding forward in it's businesses practices would cause irreparable harm not only to MOBE but to me, my family and all of the other business owners who have invested and done the work to build successful business promoting MOBE and it's products. Further, the FTC is causing harm to all those students who purchased MOBE's 21 Step Business System with the aspiration of improving their lives. These students have simply had to stop the program they purchased. The Preliminary Injunction against the MOBE Corporations and Matt Lloyd will simply compound the hardship and irreparable damage to these business owners and MOBE employees and their families.

We as Australian citizens are wondering what next. In 1998 I (Ron) was hit by a drunk driver as a pedestrian & rendered unable to work again. Frustrating when you are a work aholic. I needed to support my family. I eventually found something I could do from home in comfort where the pain was easier to manage. With my wifes (Rhonda) blessing I committed to MOBE, sinking over $100,000AU into it for our future as we had nothing else. Our last pennies went into it, because we believed in it. And still do. The system is fair, is helpful & is honest & very exposed. I took a coaching job with MOBE to help fund traffic for our business, which cost me money as I had to complete some courses to be truly qualified to coach others. These courses where to be refunded to me by MOBE, again being more than fair. Then the FTC stepped in & basically changed our lives over night. And many other people with the same goals & intentions. Ruining our hopes & killing our dreams. Do you think that the FTC really thought this through? Dose the FTC care about what lives its effecting. I believe that a handful of complaints, probably by people that did nothing & expected to make a fortune without doing anything, is all that the FTC listened to. Now what for us & people like us? Will we be refunded all that we have spent via the FTC making a ruling? I hope so because I have nothing now & stand to be homeless because of the FTC's actions. Truly did the FTC give this any thought or was it just a witch hunt. I want to continue on my journey with MOBE but, if not I want my money back. If Matt was to start another similar programme & I had the money, I would join him in a heart beat, because I believe in what he was offering. I think SHAME on you FTC, shame, shame shame. I really hope you work this out in a fair & just way.

As a person who has participated in numerous training programs to become professionally qualified as a CPA, including having a Master's Degree, I can assure you that MOBE provided clients with excellent quality training at an incredible value. What MOBE sold primarily were educational courses. It was not a 'membership' but instead various training programs. The $49 course known as the 21 Steps was I believe exceptional content when considering the training videos, text and live coaching services. My coaches as I progressed through the 21 Steps were very helpful, gave me considerable amounts of their time and added so much value to the training I should have been paying a great deal more! The opportunities to purchases higher level courses were given and I did avail myself if that. After having experienced such valuable content already, I was confident the costs for the Masterclass programs were reasonable; and they were. As mentioned, even when I studied with other universities and professional membership bodies, they also offer options to purchase courses, many of which can cost tens of thousands to complete. Many institutions courses cost hundreds of thousands for their programs which offer no means to recover those costs at all; you just get the education. Outside the course offerings, MOBE also gave me the option to become an affiliate and help promote their educational courses whereby I could get paid a commission if someone I referred were to purchase a product from MOBE. As a business expert myself, this arrangement is very common in business where a company engages agents to sell their products. MOBE is no different to most businesses selling products in this regard, they all generally engage people to help sell. I saw the benefit of becoming a MOBE affiliate and choose to sign up for that program paying a separate fee of $19.95 per month so I could do so. I promoted as an affiliate, generated course sales and in return I received the commissions due from MOBE as promised. I do appreciate that others have been through the same training and had less favorable results. That is unfortunate but inevitable as we see with all things in life. Many people have obtained degrees only to find they cannot get employment in the chosen field. In relative terms, it is all very easy to do what is trained and get the desired outcomes yet people still do fail. That is just a part of life. We have to accept responsibility for our own decisions. MOBE provides a means to begin our own journey and build our own business but the end result will be determined by our own efforts. I appreciate the FTC is here to keep a watch on how businesses operate and ensure compliance with regulations. From my last 2 years experience with MOBE, I have frequently been reminded by MOBE of the need to observe regulatory rules and guidelines with regard to inclusion of relevant mandated disclosures in advertising and when providing testimony. Generally, I would say that MOBE endeavored to do the required things with regard to promoting honestly and clearly. Nonetheless mistakes can happen. Misstatement may occur or disclosure may be overlooked by any business, MOBE was not infallible either. For this there can be undesired consequences. Fortunately, MOBE had a process whereby a customer could request a refund. Those refunds were issued on many occasions I am aware of, and even if the company had not done anything wrong. Generally MOBE did try to look after the customers. There was a process to follow however and if people did not do as required, they may experience delays in getting their refund processed as it was important that only those who were due a refund were paid. Again, an error may arise that the company can resolve upon further investigation. Again, the FTC clearly has good reason to be looking into MOBE and the business practices. I am very disappointed that the FTC did not engage with MOBE thoroughly prior to seeking the TRO as I do feel this is a very legitimate education and training company that is contributing very positively to our society as a whole. By developing their skills and enabling those who may otherwise be without an opportunity to be gainfully employed to begin their own businesses, I believe MOBE is an excellent organisation. What I would ask for the FTC to consider here is how they can assist a relatively young and small business to be conducted so that it will be fully compliant with FTC enforced regulations. It would be great if the FTC could help businesses better understand the requirements so they do not end up in this situation rather than wait for the opportunity to take enforcement action as they have now done. A proactive FTC helping businesses would be greatly appreciated rather than a reactive one! Looking forward to seeing this matter resolved as quickly and reasonably as possible. I firmly believe the defendants in this case are all very honest and upstanding individuals, having had the pleasure to have worked with them, and MOBE is a good company that should continue to provide its products and services for many years to come. Please do consider a way forward for MOBE and the FTC in this case as I am sure that will be an outcome of greatest benefit to all affected parties. Mistakes should be addressed and I am confident that Matt Lloyd and MOBE will be willing able to do so in a way that is reasonable and likely more than fair too.

Bottom line does the program work? Is MOBE a scam? Yes it works. No it’s not a scam. That’s all that is really important to say. Just to add: It is a lot like a college education. You get out of it what you out into it and it is only the beginning yet you can monetize the training. I went to college for 5 years and to a 2.7 GPA with $32k in debt. I got a job paying me $15.75/hr from the start and it didn’t go much higher from there quickly. I was basically really poor for 3.5 years and... I’m actually still poor but that is besides the point. The program really does work if you do it. Everything they say is transparent and true. How much do you get charged for a reputable MBA degree? How much time does it take to get it? What Is the cost benefit analysis? Even then you are learning to go be an employee right after. Would you rather own a business? I was going progressing through the CFA tests when I came across MOBE and it says in the beginning of each book “This is only the beginning of your path to a lifelong learning of financial investments, professionalism within the finance industry...” etc.

In my opinion, MOBE is a legitimate online business. Prior buying into MOBE as a consultant, it was made very clear that hard work is required to be successful as well as learning the ropes. I support Matt Lloyd and MOBE and his what he stands for.

I am not complaining, I just want a chance to use what we've learned. My husband has been working this business every day since January and puts in an average of 6-10 hours a day. We just got our first commission when Mobe was shut down and everything frozen. Please let people do what they've worked so hard on and get us up and running.
