The Â鶹´«Ã½ Trade Commission released the final agenda for its June 11, 2019 workshop that will examine consumer protection issues related to the online event ticket marketplace.

Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter will provide opening remarks, followed by a keynote address from Eric Budish, Economics Professor at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

The day-long workshop will feature four panel discussions. The morning sessions will focus on ticket bots and the BOTS Act and on consumer protection issues around ticket availability. The afternoon sessions will consider the adequacy of ticket price and fee disclosures and other ticketing practices that can cause consumer confusion.

The workshop, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET and will take place at the Constitution Center, located at 400 Seventh St., SW, Washington, D.C. 20024. The event will also be webcast on the FTC website and live tweeted using the hashtag #FTCticket.
